How does it work?

Development of players off-the-field, academically and professionally, is an important part of the club's philosophy. The club's home is Bren's Pavilion, on MacArthur Road, just North of the University. The club offers a number of rugby scholarships to assist in the educational and career development of MURFC rugby players. Applicants must be studying at Melbourne University or any other post-secondary institution. Training times

The season runs from April to September. Pre-season training has commenced and is conducted on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.30pm - 8.30 pm. For information on playing and training times please visit melbourneunirugby.com.au. All are welcome at training, including after the season is underway - just turn up with your boots.

Competition details

The Club fields teams in the Victorian Rugby Union Premier Division competitions (1st XV, 2nd XV, 3rd XV, Colts, and a "Gents" XV). Games are generally on a Saturday afternoon. The season draw and results are available at https://vic.rugby/

The Club also sends a 7's team to the annual Uni Nationals, see Intervarsity section above.
