Aikido

Aikido involves practising techniques to off-balance one’s partner by using their momentum and manipulating their joints.

There is no competition or sparring and training is done in a cooperative and friendly manner.

Aikido is a good tool for developing flexibility, core body strength and balance.

The Monday and Friday classes consist of hand and weapons techniques, with Wednesday classes focusing on using the bokken (wooden sword) and jo (staff).
