The Men's State League Soccer
teams enjoyed 4 wins from 4
on Saturday, with Luis Gonzalez bagging a hat-trick for State 4 Seniors side who defeated Marcellin OC 4 - 0. There was also a hat-trick for Eduardo Daga De Sousa for the State 5 Reserves team, who thumped Meadow Park Eagles 5 - 0.
The Logies were held on the Gold Coast, but they were overshadowed by the Gold Coast Marathon where two Athletics Club
members made headlines
. Madeline Hills won the 10km race, finishing in 32:35 which is just 18 seconds shy of the race record. Congratulations also to Nick Earl, who broke the MUAC record for a half-marathon, running it in 64:31.
