The Athletics Club's Premier Men enjoyed a 1st-placed team finish at the Burnley Half Marathon, as four members finished inside the top 10. Nick Earl won his first XCR title, finishing in a blistering 1:05:32, while Charlie Park, Frankie Conway and Caleb Muller rounded out the team's highest finishers. For the Premier Women, Commonwealth Games silver medallist Lisa Dick finished highest in 26th, as the team earned 5th spot.

The Baseball Club's B Grade Men beat Westgarth 13 to 6 in Round 2 of the MWBL Finals. The side finished second in the home-and-away season, earning them a double chance which came in handy after they lost 6 to 11 against first-placed Knox last week. They will meet Knox again on Saturday in the grand final.

A four-goal haul from best-on-ground John Vrodos sealed a semi-final victory for the University Blacks Football Team against Caufield Grammarians. The Blacks were down at half-time and three-quarter-time, but rallied thanks to a 6-goal final term to win 16.11 - 107 to 12.16 - 88. The team will play Old Carey next Saturday for a spot in the grand final against St Bernards. A win would also see them promoted back into the VAFA Premier A competition with the University Blues for the 2019 season.

The State League 1 Women's Soccer team thumped Melbourne Knights 5 - 0 on Sunday to cement 2nd place on the ladder before finals. Emma Scott scored a brace, while Brydie Siryj, Naomi Eaton and Nathalie Chea rounded out the rout.

The Gridiron club continued its unbeaten run, winning 22 - 0 against the Northern Raiders to make it five wins in a row.

Three different colleges scored premierships in the College Football competition. In the Women's tournament, Trinity and Ormond played out a relatively one-sided final, as Trinity prevailed 36 - 0. The Men's A Division final also featured Trinity and Ormond, though it was Ormond who secured a hard fought win 47 - 40. In the B division, Kendall Hall proved no match for a dominant St Mary's, who won 105 - 15.
