Lamble Hits Her Stride in London

16 August; Brendan Parnell

Last Thursday, Graduate Certificate in Arts student Regan Lamble was busily putting the final touches to academic adjustments with her faculty from London via email.

On Sunday she stepped out as one of three Australian representatives in the Women’s 20 km race walk at the World Athletics Championships.

Regan eventually finished as the leading Australian in 22nd place with a time of 1:31:30.

London represents the second World Championships for a student-athlete who has already competed at two Olympic Games (London and Rio) and epitomises the art of balancing multiple elite commitments.

We look forward to seeing her back on campus soon.
