Return to Campus

The state government’s road map out of lockdown indicates that when 70% of the community are doubled vaccinated (indicative date 26 October) community sporting clubs will be open for training only. The next significant step will be when 80% of the community are double vaccinated (indicative date 5 November), which is when community club competition recommences and our indoor facilities reopen with density limits for fully vaccinated patrons. Further information will be provided as it comes to hand.

Vaccinations

At this stage the University has not mandated that vaccinations are required to return to campus instead is urging everyone to get vaccinated. This is quickest way to get our sporting facilities open and to resume our programs and club activities so we encourage all our fantastic University sporting community to get vaccinated so we can all return safely. Check out the University’s VaxFACTS site for information about COVID-19 vaccines.

Please remember to exercise, get outside in the fresh air and take care of yourself, your family and friends (don’t forget physical distancing and a mask). Our FREE new Unimelb Moves app includes ideas on staying active from home.
