Following the Victorian Government announcement on Wednesday 9 June, MU Sport staff are now working through guidelines for the resumption of restricted outdoor physical recreation and sport for club training and the other approved activities. More information to follow on Friday 11 June.

All MU Sport indoor facilities will remain closed until further notice.

Staff are still operating remotely and are available to respond to any queries you may have.

2 June announcement

The state government announced on Wednesday an extension to the previous lockdown.

As MU Sport facilities will remain closed until further notice.

Staff are still operating remotely and are available to respond to any queries you may have.


26 May announcement

In line with the announcement by the State Government today, the following will occur from midnight Thursday 27 May until further notice:

The Beaurepaire Centre (gym and pool), the Nona Lee Sports Centre, Lincoln Square Fitness, Southbank Fitness, the Ernie Cropley Pavilion, Boat House, and Sports Precinct Tennis Courts will close.

Club training, matches and other club face-to-face activities will be suspended.

MU Sport offices will close. Staff will continue to be working remotely during the lockdown and will be available to respond to any queries.

All fitness memberships have been automatically suspended, with no payments to be taken until we reopen.

We will endeavour to keep you updated on our plans for recommencing services from early next week, with updates via sport.unimelb.edu.au, social media and email.

Please remember to exercise, get outside in the fresh air and take care of yourself, your family and friends (don’t forget physical distancing and a mask).

We hope to see you back at our facilities or in action with one of our clubs or programs soon.
