Update - Thursday 18 November (Masks and 12+ double vax)
Restrictions have eased across Victoria in line with Phase D of Victoria's Roadmap, from 11.59pm Thursday 18 November.
- Masks are required indoors only in limited settings including retail, health care, aged care, and justice facilities, at primary schools and on public transport, taxis and rideshare. (Existing exemptions apply)
- Masks are recommended if you can’t physically distance, if you have any symptoms, or are with people who may be vulnerable to COVID-19.
- All visitors to campus aged 12 years and 2 months and above must be double vaccinated (or qualified for an exception)

In accordance with the Victorian Government announcement on the easing of restrictions, MU Sport facilities will begin to reopen from Monday 1 November.
The Beaurepaire Centre (gym and pool) and Nona Lee Sports Centre will both reopen from Monday, close for the Melbourne Cup holiday on Tuesday, and return to scheduled hours on Wednesday. View hours here.
Direct debit and salary memberships are still on hold. Speak to the reception staff if you would like to reactivate your membership, or alternatively, you can pay on a casual basis. An update will follow to members next week. College fitness memberships have been reactivated until 30 November, some variations apply.
Court hire bookings are on a walk-up basis only until further notice. The Group Fitness timetable will resume from Wednesday 3 November.
Specific requirements for entry, including the process for verifying vaccination status and capacity limits have not been confirmed by the Government. The conditions of entry will include scanning in with the Service Victoria app and wearing a mask while indoors (excluding during strenuous exercise or using the pool).

Outdoor training for community sport resumes
In accordance with the recent Victorian Government announcement, the following changes to our operations will occur from Friday 22 October:
Outdoor training for community sport will resume today but no spectators are permitted, clubs will be contacted to confirm access to outdoor facilities in the Sports Precinct.
The outdoor facilities in the Sports Precinct (excluding the tennis courts) are now open and available for casual use when not being used for approved club activities.
Elite Akademy physiotherapy, University Tennis Academy tennis coaching and Prince Cycles will all continue to operate.
The indoor facilities including the Beaurepaire Centre and the Nona Lee Sports Centre remain closed until further notice. More to follow on this soon.
Staff will continue to work remotely and are available to respond to any queries you may have.
