2019 Board Announcement

21 December; MU Sport


Melbourne University Sport is excited to announce two outstanding incoming board members, who will provide expert leadership and guidance to the organisation. Kitty Chiller and Joanna Weston are passionate about university sport, both having represented the University during their studies, and will bring a wealth of experience to their roles.
 
Kitty Chiller

Kitty is a University of Melbourne alumna who represented Australia at Modern Pentathlon, represented the University in Fencing, was a member of various clubs and is well connected to the broader sport alumni network. CEO of Gymnastics Australia and President of Modern Pentathlon Australia, Kitty has extensive experience in sport governance and management and is well connected to national and state sporting organizations and the Olympic movement as the Australian Chef De Mission of the Rio Olympic team. Kitty will provide great insights into the broader sport environment and be an advocate for the clubs, with a commitment to increasing participation more broadly. 

Joanna Weston

Joanna is a recent commerce graduate from the University of Melbourne and current member of the national Netball team the Diamonds, member of the Melbourne Vixens in the Australian Netball League, works at Deloitte within the Private Enterprise division and is leading the development of the fledgling Australian Netball Players' Association. She is also a Melbourne University Netball Club member and has represented the University, and will be a strong advocate for our athletes and athlete support programs.
