Join the squad, learn from some of Australia’s top Coaches and take your strength and skill to the next level at Melbourne University Lifting. We aim to offer opportunities in both Weightlifting and/or Powerlifting activities for Melbourne University Students at all levels.

This Club is a brand new Melbourne University Sport administered program for 2022.


Discipline Session 1 Session 2





Timeslot 1: 5.00-6.30pm
Timeslot 2: 6.30-8.00pm

Timeslot 1: 4.00-5.30pm
Timeslot 2: 5.30-7.00pm

Lifters can join either Powerlifting or Weightlifting or both disciplines. Lifters will usually be allocated to a training squad within the clubs allocated training session.

All skill levels are welcome from complete from complete beginners to experienced athletes. A coach will be supervising every lift and safety is our top priority. A coach will also assist demonstrating and teaching how to life and will be providing members a program

Please note our Public Holiday Hours as sessions wont occur when the Beaurepaire Centre is closed


All trainings occur in the High Performance Studio within the Beaurepaire Centre

Membership gets you coaching and access to High Performance Studio only during relevant discipline training times from 1 April 2023. This will not provide you access to the general gym floor. Memberships are up until 31 March 2024. The above figures will be reduced a pro-rata amount quarterly.

You may join up directly in person by visiting the front desk of the Beaurepaire Centre.
