Popular new meet-up space | home.two café and Tin Alley ramp reorientation project completed

Works were recently completed to relocate the home.two café from the corner of Monash Road and Swanston Street to the area between the Nona Lee Sports Centre and Beaurepaire Centre in the Sports Precinct.

Coinciding with the relocation, and as part of the Campus Management DDA Program, the ramp from the Sports Precinct to Tin Alley was reoriented to provide compliant access and to slow down cyclists, thus creating a safe and inclusive egress point for this busy thoroughfare.

The result speaks for itself as a popular sport to grab a coffee or a tasty bite, and enjoy the improved seating and landscaping which provides a beautiful sunny and attractive spot to catch up with friends.

Melbourne University Sport would like to thank Jon Peacock and Adam Perry in Space Management, Sebastian Di Girolamo and Justin Bullen in Project Management, and Dominic Napoleone from Horticulture for their leadership and expertise during the project.
