Bachelor of Arts and Diploma in Languages alum Grace Brown made her second Olympics appearance at Paris 2024 and she returned with the top prize - a Gold medal!

Grace graduated from the University in 2014 with a double major in Politics & International Studies and Sociology, and a Diploma in Italian Language, going on to complete her honours in 2015. Grace recently completed a Master of Marketing at Griffith University and is currently a professional cyclist in the FDJ SUEZ Futuroscope team.

In Tokyo, Grace placed fourth in the Women’s Individual Time Trial, narrowly missing a bronze medal. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Brown was dominant in the same event where she went on to win gold. In the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, Grace won a silver medal in the Individual Time Trial. At Paris, she recorded a remarkable victory on the slippery track with a timing of 39 minutes and 38.24 seconds.

Having announced her plans to retire at the end of the year before the Olympics, Grace also won the gold at the 2024 UCI Road World Championships in Zurich to bow out on top of the world.
