Welcome to Melbourne University Sport! The fitness centres at Melbourne University Sport are considered among the very best in Melbourne. Our centres include our Beaurepaire Centre, the Nona Lee Sports Centre and the Lincoln Square Fitness centre.

Following a $5.3 million redevelopment, this two-storey complex contains an inspiring, warehouse-style air-conditioned Strength and Fitness gym spanning 850m². The gym features:
  • Floor space with mezzanine stretching area
  • Lightweight zone
  • High-Performance Strength Training Venue
  • Indoor heated 25m lap pool
  • Personal Training Studio
  • Club Style change rooms

Staffed by qualified fitness instructors, the Strength & Fitness gym offers a variety of electronic cardio exercise and enough free pin-loaded weight equipment to accommodate the beginner through to the elite athlete.

Facilities in the Nona Lee Sports Centre building include:

The majority of Group Fitness classes are located in the Nona Lee Sports Centre.  Find the right class for you today.

A casual Quick Hit of Squash, Tennis and Badminton is available to University of Melbourne students, Monday to Friday between 9am - 11am. ($2 for 30 minutes, no bookings, walk-up hire only).

MU Sport's newest gym and group fitness facility opened in 2012 and is conveniently located at the University's Southern Precinct at 183 Bouverie Street across from Lincoln Square Park.

Strength & Fitness equipment and courses include:
 
  • Brand new state of the art Precor equipment
  • Cardio theatre zone including treadmills, rowers, cross trainers and bikes
  • Extensive strength zone with pin and plate loaded machines, and free weights
  • Various Fitness Programs
  • Various Group Fitness classes
