Ria's story
Ria grew up in Melbourne and attended the University of Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Science from 2016 to 2018. During her time here, she represented the University at Uni Nationals and in the Australian Boat Race.
In 2019, Ria moved to Queensland, where in 2019 she completed Honours for Bachelor of Science. Ria is currently completing a Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Medicine, all at the University of Queensland.
Ria was part of the Women's Quadruple Scull crew that won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, and competed in the same event in Paris, finishing eight.
