Melbourne University Touch Football is one of the oldest and largest Touch Football clubs in Victoria.

Founded in 1997, MUTF has continued to grow its member base, fielding over 15 teams in 2022 across a number of competitions. Our club competes in both social and elite competitions, and prides ourselves on our ability to accommodate for players at all skill levels. MUTF is holding their varsity trials on Wednesday the 1st of March, 2023 on Smith Oval at 6pm. The selected Men’s and Women’s teams will play against Monash on Monday the 3rd of April, 2023.

Competition details

MUTF competes in both winter and summer competitions throughout the year, we have anything from weekend trips away to weekly social competitions to Victorian representative competitions for you to participate in.

MUTF puts teams into the following social, Vic Touch and Team Melbourne competitions:

  • Inter-varsity challenge vs Monash University (April 3)
  • Held in Sale, the annual weekend knockout tournament (15 - 16 April)
  • The Fawkner park social winter competition held weekly on a Wednesday Night (April - August)
  • Victorian Touch League held at Elwood Park on Sunday mornings (September - November)
  • University Nationals held in Queensland (23 - 29 September)
