UniSport Australia yesterday announced their annual award winners for 2019, and in some exciting news, The University had two student-athletes win major awards!Congratulations to:
Jaryd Cifford (Bachelor of Arts / Athletics) - Most Outstanding Performance by a Student-Athlete with a Disability
Catriona Bisset (Master of Architecture, Diploma of Languages / Athletics) - Female Athlete of the Year
Jaryd and Catriona join a host of other University of Melbourne students, teams, coaches and programs that have won UniSport Awards in the past. This includes most recently, Asha Steer (2018 - Most Outstanding Performance - Indigenous Student-Athlete), Cyrus Monk (2016 - Male Athlete of the Year), Dylan Alcott (2015 - Most Outstanding Sporting Performance by an Athlete with a Disability) and the Raise The Bar Academy program (2015).
