Anderson’s Horticulture has been awarded the contract to maintain the turf on University Oval and the adjoining practice wicket area in the Sports Precinct for a further three years.
The face of Anderson’s on campus is Ryan Williams. Ryan has worked on University Oval for close to 25 years and knows the Oval like the back of his hand. Passionate about sports turf, Ryan clearly takes great pride in the condition of University Oval and is continually looking at ways to improve its condition, such as the two drainage projects in 2021 that led to a significant improvement in the Oval’s condition after heavy rain. Ryan recently a staff award from MU Sport in recognition of his outstanding service to sport at the University. The Oval is certainly in good hands moving forward.
