Nominations Open for 2024 MU Sport Annual Awards

17 September 2024; Aaron McNaughton

Every year, the contributions of the University sporting community are celebrated through the Melbourne University Sport Annual Awards.

Individuals and clubs are recognised for their significant contributions to sport at the University – whether it has come through their on-field successes or their leadership and excellence in supporting it off-field.

The Awards will be presented at the Sport and Volunteer Celebration on Wednesday 4 December, with nominations now open in the following categories:

Club Performance

Clubs have a long-standing history of sporting achievement at the University of Melbourne. In addition to the recognition our club performances get within their own community, these awards reward the best performances across all clubs each year. These are:

  • Club Team Performance of the Year
  • Club Individual Performance of the Year
  • Club Coach of the Year
  • Club of the Year

Previous winners of these awards can be viewed here.

Excellence and Leadership

These awards reward volunteers who have made a significant contribution to an MU Sport affiliated club, program or initiative. We encourage all student-athletes, coaches, administrators, advisory group members, ambassadors and volunteers to consider nominating your peers to be recognised for their efforts.
